We just found out yesterday that we are expecting our second bundle of joy in October!! We couldn't be happier and Ewan is super excited to be a big brother!!
Lori & Ewan made it home from the hospital last Thursday! We've been super busy and super tired, which is why we haven't done a blog post since then! To celebrate his one week birthday, the poor little boy was circumcised - it was a very traumatic day to say the least! We have added new pictures to his flickr account, so make sure you check it out!
Lori & Ewan got to stay an extra night in the hospital so they're not home yet - hopefully tomorrow. Ewan (finally) figured out the whole breastfeeding thing today and Lori is feeling much better!
Ewan Jack Cox arrived at 9:24am on Monday June 19 2006. Yay! After a long weekend of no activity Lori started to have serious contractions around 2am Monday morning so we headed to the hospital. They admitted her right away and by about 7am she was pushing. She did a great job through it all (natural birth with no epidural!), I was so proud of her!
I have been in labor now for 1.5 days and still, no baby. I had contractions about every 7 minutes yesterday but they've pretty much stopped today. The doctor I saw this morning at the hospital said that by the end of today or tomorrow I should have this baby, but it sure doesn't seem like it!
Hi blog readers - this is Zach. We went to the hospital this morning & Lori is indeed in early stages of labor. They sent her home temporarily until she progresses further which will hopefully be later today - so soon we will be parents! :) We'll post all the details later.
Well, I'm going to go to the hospital now since I'm having some bloody show and cramping! It might not be the real thing though so I'm trying not to get overly excited yet! Keep your fingers crossed that everything goes well and hopefully we will have news for you soon!
Your baby's due date has arrived-congratulations! If you are still pregnant, don't worry if you are not having signs of labor. It's not unusual for pregnancies to continue for 42 or 43 weeks. Your baby will continue to grow and develop.
